(Kids Event) Chicken Race

 This event is as country as it gets. 

Rules: When this event is announced kids can come down from the stands and enter the arena. Kids will circle the arena fence. Chickens will be placed in the middle of the arena. At GO kids will attempt to catch as many chickens as they can. If you catch a chicken you can take it home.

(Kid’s event) Mutton Bustin:

Rules : 3-7 years and 50 lbs max 

Kids must ride facing forward. Time will start when sheep clears gate, longest ride wins.

Rawhide Race

$50.00 per team, 2 man team, winners take all, 100% payout, limited to 12 teams 

Rules: Man on rawhide must wear helmet, team will start behind starting line, time starts as soon as they cross the line, team will go down the arena and around the end barrel and back across the line to stop the clock. If any member falls off horse or rawhide before they cross back over the line it will result in a no time. 

Costumes are encouraged as there will be an added prize for best costume, But they are not required.

Calf Dressing:

3-4 woman team $100.00 entry fee, 10% stock charge, paying top 3 teams, 50% 30% 20% limited to 12 teams. Minimum age is 14 years old. This is a youth/woman event only. 

Rules: calves will be in bucking chutes with halters on, at GO gates will open and time starts. Team must put calves head and both front legs in T shirt and cross the finish line to stop the clock. We will run 3 judges and timers for this event. All steers will have a different colored shirt, team will be issued a color when they pre enter online. Team is responsible for matching team shirts and shirt for their calf, calf shirt must be the same color at team shirts.

Sweetheart Race:

$50.00 per team, 2 person team, winners take all, 100% payout, limited to 12 teams

Rules : 1 person on horse the other on a barrel at the opposite end of the arena, time starts when rider crosses the line, rider will go down pick up partner and come back across the line to stop the clock. If anyone falls off barrel or horse before crossing back over the line it will be a no time. 

Costumes are encouraged as there will be an added prize for best costume, But they are not required.

(Kids event) Boot Race:

Rules : kids will leave their boots at one end of the arena and will go to the opposite end of the arena. They will line up according to their age/size ( smallest kids closest to the boots ) at go they will run down find their boots put them on and run back across the finish line.

3 Man Steer Muggin

$75 entry fee. 10% stock charge , paying the top 3 teams 50% 30% 20%

Limited to 12 teams. 

Rules :  riders will start from head box area behind chalk line, steer will be turned out of roping chute, steer must cross the starting line before riders can start, time will start as soon as steer crosses line. Riders must head steer and then they can either mug it down or heel it and mug it down, they must tie 3 feet and clear hand to stop the clock. Steer must stay tied for 6 seconds. No loop limit 4 minute time limit.
